The Can do! Video Series consists of 11 videotapes that clearly describe and portray critical areas of development for the young child who is blind or visually impaired.  The tapes include important information about visutal impairment and how it can impact learning and skill development.  Each tape focuses on a specific issue of skill and beautifully demonstrates practical ways to enhance development and promote independence in the young child with visual impairment.  This series may be especially useful for parents, early interventionists, child care providers, and preschool teachers!  The series includes tapes on concept development, self-help skills, social skills and play, orientation and mobility, gross motor skills, and tactual learning.  Additionally, there are tapes that focus on adapting the preschool environment, provide an introduction to Braille, and share experiences of families and other care providers of young children with visual impairment.
