Blaha, R. (2001).  Calendars for students with multiple impairments including deafblindness. Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired.

Calendars for Students with Multiple Impairments Including Deafblindness is an excellent resource for staff and families of students with special needs.  It provides a wealth of information about calendar systems and is presented in a user-friendly manner.  Blaha’s guide is divided into four chapters: 1) Benefits of Calendar Systems, 2) Anticipation Calendars, 3) Daily Calendars, and 4) Expanded Calendars.  Each chapter includes photographs and line-drawings of calendars and calendar systems making replication simple.  This is handy tool to have available for structuring and organizing student’s time and activities in the home, community, and classroom environments.
