The Clinical Center for the Study of Development and Learning provides evaluations for preschool and school-age children whose previous assessments and services have not yet fully enhanced their learning and development. Evaluation services may be provided by individual clinicians, small teams of 2 or 3 clinicians, or a full interdisciplinary team, depending on the child's needs.

The Young Adult Program provides multidisciplinary evaluations for young adults that have graduated from high school and are transitioning into the world of work and/or college. The evaluation consists of an assessment by a clinical team that includes a neuropsychologist, an education/ learning specialist, and a vocational/career counselor. The focus of the evaluation is to provide young adults with a plan that integrates their strengths, weakness, affinities, neuropsychological profile, and job values and interests. The evaluation is designed to inform young adults with knowledge about themselves in order to increase their chances for success and to help better prepare him/her for the work and life challenges ahead. This evaluation will not produce standardized test scores to use for qualification of disability services, however we can also provide that service.
