RESEARCH AND CLINICAL INTERESTS

My clinical interests are varied and include children with attention problems, learning differences, and those who are on the autism spectrum. I am particularly intrigued by the roles that sleep and iron metabolism have on executive functions and attention controls.

PERSONAL STATEMENT

I am a general pediatrician by training and came to developmental pediatrics after many years in primary care. I enjoy working with children and their families and advocate for using an approach that avoids negative and often simplistic labels to help understand developmental and behavioral differences.
